“We Believe in Those Who Are Forgotten” — Art Direction & Creative ConceptThis campaign was born from a reflection on the power of words and their ability to shape self-confidence. A single remark can discourage, dishearten, or cast doubt on an entire project. With this campaign, we wanted to turn that reality into a bold visual statement — to give a voice to those who are too often dismissed.
The starting point was simple yet powerful: entrepreneurs from underrepresented neighborhoods frequently face negative comments and stereotypes that undermine their ambition — everyday phrases like “it will never work” or “you’re not good enough” that can crush ideas before they ever take form.
As art director, I designed a striking and socially engaged visual campaign, conceived as a visual punch to provoke reflection and reaction. Hurtful words were displayed on a large scale, reclaimed and recontextualized to confront audiences with the emotional weight of everyday criticism.
The visual system relied on raw typography, a high-contrast color palette, and minimalist compositions, amplifying the tension between verbal violence and collective resilience. Each poster became a visual manifesto, turning harmful language into symbols of empowerment and affirmation.
“We Believe in Those Who Are Forgotten” is a socially conscious communication campaign, both artistic and activist, that flips the narrative to celebrate persistence, creativity, and dignity in those society tends to overlook.
